I was exposed to the benefits, healing and growth properties of oils and essential oils at the start of my hair journey.  However, back then I found it very difficult to find the right oil for my hair as it wasn't the focus of the market at the time.  Hair butters, puddings and balms were the trend at the time. The hair oils that were available on the market were altered and wasn't pure enough.  I had educated myself on the  benefits of using 100% natural and organic oil...and I was in love, (call it border line obsession), I was completely sold as I was beginning to see the results from months of consistent use.  This was Good News for my hair, but Bad for my pocket. I spent a lot of money purchasing oils individually...very expensive by the way, not cheap at all to experiment with in my kitchen lab. 

As exciting as the process was for me, I can remember murmuring to myself of how great it would to find a bottle of oil that catered for my hair's needs, instead of spending a lot of money...(money well spent by the way)  to create a small mix.
